System Introduction

Over the years, China's rapid development of hydropower station construction, to promote local economic and social development has played an important role, but the ensuing ecological problems can not be ignored. Some hydropower stations have caused water reduction, dehydration or even drying up of some river sections due to insufficient ecological flow, which to a certain extent has affected the normal ecological function of rivers and the production and life of the masses.
The Central Government attaches great importance to the construction of ecological civilization, proposes that green mountains are golden mountains, and calls for the "common grasp of great protection". China's ecological flow involves the river's climate, topography and geomorphological conditions, the stage of regional economic and social development and economic structure, the management of rivers and lakes, the construction and operation of reservoirs and hydroelectric power stations, the implementation of social management, basic theories and computational methodology, etc., which is a very complex issue that requires systematic research, the introduction of policies and measures to strengthen the ecological scheduling, strengthening of supervision and management.
In order to protect the river ecological environment and promote the scientific, rational and orderly development and sustainable utilization of hydro energy resources, the online monitoring system of ecological flow of hydropower stations is constructed.


Functional Features

※ Comply with Water Resources Data Transmission Statute SZY206-2016 and GB/T 28181 Statute;

※ It has the function of automatically collecting flow, water level and video at regular intervals, and the interval of data collection can be set;

※ Transmitting data through GPRS/4G wireless network, the terminal is characterized by long-term online and instant communication;

※ It is equipped with the function of over-limit warning according to the corresponding warning value set by the user;

※ It is equipped with the functions of timed self-test transmission, automatic reset, station address setting, power-down data protection, and real-time clock auto-calibration, etc. When the system is uploading data, the terminal is able to transmit data via GPRS/4G wireless network;

※ When the system uploads data, it automatically uploads the working status information of the equipment, such as battery voltage, signal strength, etc. ※ The equipment has a full range of lightning protection functions;

※ The device is equipped with a full range of lightning protection functions, including power supply lightning protection, channel lightning protection, lightning rod lightning protection, and so on;

※ Support functions of remote wake-up, remote maintenance and remote setting parameters;

※ Support flow, water level and other data and real-time video docking across the country regulators cloud platform;

System structure

Hydropower station ecological flow monitoring system consists of three parts: monitoring center, communication network and on-site monitoring equipment.

※ Monitoring center: cloud server, database software, hydropower station ecological flow monitoring system software, mobile APP and other components.


※ Communication network: GPRS wireless transmission, 4G all-netcom wireless transmission, NB-IOT narrowband wireless transmission and fiber optic Ethernet wired transmission.


※ Front-end monitoring equipment: flow meter, network camera, telemetry terminal, solar power supply system (optional), mounting poles and brackets, etc. The network camera can view the real-time video screen on the software platform, which is very intuitive; the telemetry terminal is responsible for the collection of water level, gate level, flow rate, flow rate, and uploading to the server through various communication methods. The solar power supply system includes solar panels, solar controller and batteries.
